Have you ever hated your job so much that you slowly start to become unhinged? No, seriously things you begin to forget or put off things like take your vehicle to the auto shop for basic maintenance, go grocery shopping so you don't keep eating junk food or shave. That way, you won't be mistaken for a bear when "they" come to get you. You know what I mean.
I had friend who, in an attempt to have a random weekend getaway to Mexico in their Ford F-150 , got derailed because of ignoring the check engine light . No really, cars and trucks do not "just do that"...something is wrong and left unattended, it will get WOR$E.
Thankfully, I was able to make some phone calls and found this San Diego auto repair halfway between OC and the Mexican border that was more than happy to help. And no, my friend did not have to cancel their travel plans or get an express loan to pay. They got efficient service without the dealer costs.
