Business Posture From Hell...For the Ladies, Anyway

Now let me get this straight.

As a  woman, I have to have equal or better education than a man that is competing for the same position.  And unless I am extremely "charming" or already know someone who works for the same company, I have to be presentable at all times.  Meaning if I decide to wear my clean tennis shoes because my feet are swollen courtesy of Aunt Flo or I'm about to give birth, I get twice the criticism a guy would get because he's wearing Air Jordan's and they cost damn near $200.

Or if I approach someone with a question and remind them - without yelling, using profanity, pointing my finger in their face or any other gesture than could be considered rude, bitchy or aggressive (this will go in my files, btw).  Meanwhile, my three-legged friend who exhibits the same behavior is a go-getter, really going places - and of course ....he's assertive.

Anyway, there's more to add to the list of things we've done wrong besides refuse to stay at home.  Its not on the GENEROUS site because you never know, some exec might decide to slum in between CNN and Motley Fool websites.  Courtesy of Forbes.com.
