City Workers From Hell
For those of you outside of L.A., the city of Bell is about fifteen miles east of LAX and at 2.5 miles, anyone can drive a Yugo through it and not realize that they passed it in less than five minutes. When I worked for L.A. Unified, I found most of the people to be pretty friendly though I am not part of their main demographic (Latino/Hispanic).
It is not a crime to be a humble, microscopic town but to $hit on one deserves a public castration. When it was discovered earlier this month how much these city officials were getting every year (some were getting six figures for PART TIME EMPLOYMENT), I wanted to put them under Twin Towers with those Chicago sized rats and have a camera installed to catch the decay of bodies.
